What is a Bogan?

Verb:  bogan (third-person singular simple present bogans, present participle boganning, simple past and past participle boganned)

"If you're coming in to cause trouble, don't bother ... bogan it up at home."
- Lord Mayor Robert Doyle

Are The Bogans relevant in today's fast paced and ever changing environment? We're talking technology and stuff like that, not global warming although we sympathize with all our misguided environmentalist wacko friends even if they are nuts. Anyhow the Bogans are pretty much up to speed with all this futuristic internets stuff that Al Gore invented for us so of course the Bogans are on Facebook. You should be too.  You can check that out by clicking on this little thing here that savvy internets types call a "link".
The Bogans on Facebook
Even though the Bogans are cooler than a velvet Elvis painting or a Three Wolf Moon T-shirt the bandmembers don't take themselves too seriously or act like they should be placed on some kind of "rockstar" pedestal even if they are way more talented and better looking than most other bands. The Bogans are just regular guys and not much different than your obnoxious neighbor or annoying brother in law except they don't live near you and probably aren't related.

Like all good rock stars,  the band likes to have a good time and "get down" with the audience when they play.  But as professional musicians, meaning professional in the sense they prefer to get paid or at least get some free beer, the Bogans do take the music seriously and deliver a quality performance. When you book The Bogans you can rest assured you are getting a terrific entertainment value. Honest. You can trust The Bogans. Really.
